This sums up my feelings nicely.

Thanks @thebloggess. I’m not attending the mom 2.0 summit but the sentiment is spot on for most of the feelings I’ve had through this ball-pit of snow we’ve been dealing with.

Ready for a thaw.

Words! With an ‘s’.

Last week as we were getting Bruno out of his highchair, he said,

“Socths.”

And as we both looked at him he grabbed his feet and said it again,

“Socths. Socths.”

We clapped and fussed and for good measure we asked him where his socks were and he grabbed his feet again.

For months he’s been babbling and saying ‘mamamama’ and ‘dadeeeee’ but I still don’t know if he knows who is who.

Since socks we have heard:
Hello
Up
Mooo (while holding his toy cows and it actually sounds like ‘meeeeeeehhh’)
Dis (which he says while pointing at things and I think he’s asking what it is)
He makes an adorable attempt at ‘i love you’ which is just a bunch of luh luh luhs
And when he sees Uncle Skippy he says ‘ssssss’

All of a sudden he is saying all these things. It’s wonderful and exciting and everything out of his mouth is something new.
